In 1987, a team of three people – David Wade Chambers, David Turnbull and Helen Watson Verran – began a systematic review of cross-cultural content in the History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Science. Imagining Landscapes, written by David Wade Chambers, is one of several publications resulting from that collaborative scholarship, examining landscapes as representations of both nature and culture.
